I have the chidlren's sermon and after we finish God of Wonders, I'll go down, gather the kids and read the Palm Sunday story of Jesus on the donkey. Then have the kids line up along the center aisle with their palm leaves and Lord willing, a donkey will come down the aisle and we'll wave our palm branches and say, "Hosanna! Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" We'll have Marcella put that on a power point slide so we can all say it together. Finally, I'd like to end with
"Our God is an awesome God" which I don't think we've sung together before, but I'm pretty sure lots of people know it. I'll have the praise team stay up on the stage for the whole thing since we'll need you at the end again, OK?

Hi! I just got off the phone from talking with Holly M.E. and she had some good ideas I thought I'd share with you guys. First off she said she really likes it when we share a story behind the song, like its history. Secondly, she said she loves it when one of us has something to say from the heart. She said people really like it when we have shared and that she'd like to hear from Frieda and Joey too. Each of us should set the example for the rest of the congregation to be humble yet uninhibited. We also agreed cheesy fillers were no good. From the heart or not at all! Surely there's a Latin phrase to capture that, like Ex pectus pectoris necne procul totus.

I know this will be a busy weekend for many of us. We will say 8:30ish to practice sunday am. We the Lehmans may have several family members at church and I know the Wigtons will as well.

Hi everyone. It sure seems like a long time since I have seen some of you. Missing a week at church seems to take me out of the loop. It would be great if we could get together to practice today if we are able. I'm not sure when the square dance is tonight or if things like instruments etc need moving. If 4pm would work out that would be great. I want to do some checking with Chet etc. before hand. I think he is gone this am but I should be able to check with him by noon. Sorry this is last minute. We can pick the songs when we get together or if it looks like that won't happen I will send another blog later.

Ben and I threw in Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord, if you have objections, Joel, let us know. We'd like to have a very brief practice on Saturday at 4pm, just to run through Sunday's agenda as there's no way to meet early on Sunday also the hymn and Glory of God are a little new to us all.

As Joel said, you guys are all wonderful and it's a privilege to lead worship with you! If anyone is inspired to do a Good Friday fast with us, join us in a prayerful Good Friday.

What a great time of worship this morning was. I was very blest by the new song The Glory of God. Thanks to Ben and Becca for teaching this to us. There are times when I am able to stand back and realize how good God is in bringing people into my life that are a true blessing through freindship and in this case making worship music possible for our church. Thanks to Ben and Becca, Joey, Ben L, Sam, Cat, Boo, Kayla and anyone else who has contributed to our worship time in church. God is using all of you to make our worship time at Lifebridge a joy for him.
